Ruins of Landevennec monastery near sea view apartments in Finistère
Us in Landevennec monastery, a nice trip from our sea view apartments in Plouhinec

NICE TO MEET YOU!

Lotta is from Finland, Guy from South Africa. Two opposite sides of the world! We both fell in love with Finistère with its spectacular coastal scenery, beautiful stretches of sandy beaches and charming little sheltered bays. It reminds Guy of his beloved South Africa and that is why we chose the name Jabula, which means happiness in Zulu.

We are also fascinated by the rich history of Brittany. We often take our bicycles and ride to a nearby chapel or a manor house, seeing a few menhirs on the way. On the way back we like to stop for a crèpe (or two) and a bowl of cider.

(This picture was taken in the ruins of the Landévennec abbey, founded at the end of the 5th century.)
